Humanitarian Aid

In the wake of Hurricanes Irma and Maria in the Caribbean 2017 several NGOs, charities & commercial entities required transportation solutions for relief cargo and reached out to our Freight division to take up the challenge.

Our Freight team was called upon by our client to deliver an array of supplies, equipment, vehicles and tools to re-build Saipan Island after Super Typhoon Yutu.

With the COVID-19 outbreak beginning in Wuhan, our global Freight team responded to air cargo requests to transport a number of essential hygiene, medical supplies, and PPE into and out of Asia during the pandemic.

Since the outbreak of Ebola in March 2014, numerous NGO’s, governments and aid agencies reached out to Air Partner to help provide the affected regions with relief goods via cargo charter.

Our clients were required to send specialist equipment to Tokyo to help with aid support in the aftermath of the Tsunami in 2011.

During the Tunisian demonstrations in mid-January 2011 our client required a time-critical solution as part of their crisis response plans.

Our client required transportation of a total of 600 tons of aid and relief cargo and trusted in the long-standing expertise of our Freight division.

Our humanitarian aid and response clients needed a way to ensure the delivery of essential supplies for the rescue and relief activities on-site.

In support of the United Nations MINUSCA Project, our client needed to transport nearly 90 tonnes of food items to the hotspot of the project.

A large amount of humanitarian aid had to be delivered into conflict-torn Libya, which naturally entailed substantial challenges and considerations.

The IFRC needed to deliver 40 tonnes of aid cargo to Haiti to support crisis response activities after Hurricane Matthew battered the country in early October 2016.
