With Manhattan traffic presenting a significant challenge, Air Partner designed a solution that was both exceptional and efficient: a series of Sikorsky S-76 helicopter charters operating between West 30th Street Heliport and Republic Airport — the closest access point to the course.
The Challenge
For this prestigious corporate host welcoming team members, families and VIP invitees to the Ryder Cup, ground transfers from Manhattan to Bethpage risked undermining a carefully curated hospitality programme. With unpredictable traffic and journey times of up to 90 minutes, any delay could compromise the smooth flow of the day’s events.
To deliver an elevated, impeccably timed experience, Air Partner needed to devise a transfer solution that combined speed, precision and flexibility. Over the course of the weekend, the client would face multiple manifest updates and evolving schedules, with passenger lists and departure times shifting up to the moment of take-off.
Managing several simultaneous helicopter departures demanded flawless orchestration – choreographing four to six aircraft per rotation to ensure all flights departed within minutes of each other.

Real-time departure and arrival updates were sent as each helicopter lifted off and landed, providing complete visibility at every stage.
