Malaga Airport is the main international airport that serves the Costa del Sol region. There is a private jet terminal that offers exclusive usage for private jet travelers and crew. It is also Spain’s fourth busiest airport after Madrid, Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca. Throughout Malaga Airport's history, it has been known as "El Rompedizo" and "García Morato". In 1965 it was officially renamed as Malaga Airport, and in 2011 the airport's name was changed again to Malaga-Costa del Sol Airport. Malaga Airport is 15 km away from the city center and to drive, it would take 25-minutes to drive into the city.
