At Air Partner we are passionate about supporting early careers and providing meaningful opportunities for young professionals to grow. We are committed to nurturing emerging talent through a variety of different opportunities, providing hands-on experience and helping individuals build foundations for their future, all in a supportive and exciting environment.
Broker Academy
Our Academy Training Programme offers young professionals the opportunity to launch an exciting new career as an aircraft charter broker. No prior aviation experience is necessary, our programme equips trainees with all of the knowledge and skills required for the role. During the set training period (usually between 3 and 6 weeks) participants learn about aircraft types, our systems and process, sales and negotiation techniques as well as soft skills, to set them up to become a successful broker.
After the training period, successful candidates will be placed in one of our charter divisions (Private Jets, Group Charter or Cargo) to learn on the floor from the experts. There is the opportunity then to progress to an Account Manager position where individuals can start building their own book of business and earning commission on top of their salary. A passion for aviation and sales combined with an enthusiasm and a hunger to learn are the attributes we look for in potential Brokers.
If this sounds like you and you are based either near Gatwick Airport (UK) or Chamblee, Atlanta (US), apply now!
Apprenticeships are linked to a profession or trade, with on-the-job training and a programme of study. Apprenticeships are designed to meet skills gaps, and are a great way to gain real-life experience whilst training and earning a wage, and are usually for a period of between 1 and 2 years in length.
Internships / Placements
This is a short-term, usually unpaid, work experience program that allows students undergoing university degrees or recent graduates, to gain experience in a field or industry to allow them to start building their CVs. Internships with us are usually a few weeks long, and can be full-time or part-time. If you are interested in applying for an internship, please send your application to [email protected]
Usually this is a technical qualification for 16-19 year olds in England that prepares students for work, further study, or apprenticeships. We offer the industry placement, which is essential for passing this qualification. If you are doing a relevant T Level, and would like to discuss opportunities please email us [email protected]
Work Experience
Usually offered to High School or College aged individuals, work experience is a program that allows students to gain experience in a real work environment and it would normally last a period of a few days or a week. We are pleased to offer a limited number of placements.
Our Early Careers strategy ensures a robust and welcoming onboarding and induction process and we also offer opportunities for mixing with others on our various training schemes and at socials and events, creating a friendly and dynamic environment.
