Can you tell us about your role at Air Partner?
As the Director of Sales for Private Jets Charter, I have the opportunity to prospect new clients while also engaging with our existing clientele to understand their unique private aviation needs. I offer customized solutions that are tailored to every individual’s specific itinerary and mission.
At Air Partner, we prioritize building lasting relationships, and I truly appreciate the strong support I receive in my role as Sales Director.
What inspired you to pursue a career in aviation? Can you share the story of your first charter?
Aviation has always been a part of my life. My father was an Aerospace Engineer for Boeing and a Designated Engineering Representative (DER). As a child, I often accompanied him on consulting visits to various FBOs, where I met jet owners and learned about the industry firsthand. Those experiences left a lasting impression, making private aviation a natural career path for me.
I officially began my career in private aviation in 2010, and it’s hard to believe how quickly the time has flown—15 years already! I joined Air Partner in 2024, and I’ve loved every minute ever since.
My first charter flight occurred unexpectedly. A commercial airline had a last-minute cancellation, and the client needed to get moving, fast. It turned into an actual “go-now” situation. Within two hours, we had the aircraft ready and wheels up. Talk about feet to the fire! It was high-pressure and fast-paced, but also deeply satisfying to see how quickly we could make a difference.
What key industries do you serve?
My long-term clients come from various industries, including heads of state, high net worth individuals (HNWIs), corporate executives, and occasionally celebrities. At Air Partner, I am focused on developing tailored charter solutions for the travel & tourism sector while deepening our relationship and service offering with Delta.
What would you say is Air Partner’s greatest strength?
Air Partner is built on a foundation of professionalism, deep industry expertise, and mutual respect. Our team is made up of highly tenured private aviation professionals, and every individual’s experience is genuinely valued. That collective knowledge is what allows us to deliver exceptional service consistently.

What are the advantages of chartering over commercial flights for travel agencies?

Chartering offers unmatched flexibility, privacy, and time savings. It allows travel agencies to craft highly personalized itineraries, avoid long security lines and layovers, and access smaller airports closer to the final destination. It’s a powerful tool for elevating the client experience with additional layering exclusive to their agency style.
What are the most common misconceptions travel agents have about private jet charters?
Many travel advisors might assume private jet travel is out of reach for their clients unless specifically requested. However, chartering can be a practical and creative solution, especially for complex or time-sensitive itineraries. For example, a short helicopter transfer can replace a lengthy drive, making the trip more efficient and comfortable.
What kind of support can agents expect during the booking process, especially for complex itineraries or last-minute requests?
At Air Partner, we keep travel advisors informed every step of the way. We clearly communicate expectations, especially for last-minute or complex itineraries, and offer multiple solutions when needed. We explain any logistical challenges and walk advisors through the necessary steps—often emphasizing the importance of timely decision-making for the successful execution of urgent requests. As peers in travel arrangements, we work dynamically to deliver excellence in customer experience.
Can you share a success story where a travel agent made a significant impact on a client’s experience by using Air Partner for their flights?
Absolutely. One meaningful example was a client flying home after completing a rehabilitation program—a significant milestone in her life. The travel advisor, understanding the sensitivity of the occasion, requested that we remove all alcohol from the aircraft and arranged a special steak dinner with sparkling grape juice to celebrate her sobriety. It was a thoughtful gesture that reflected the deep trust and partnership we share with our advisors.
A Deeper Dive...
What do you enjoy most about working in aircraft charter?
What I love most is the variety - no two days are ever the same. Each charter presents a new challenge, a new story, and a new opportunity to make a difference. One of the most memorable experiences I’ve had was coordinating a flight for a head of state, working closely with the Secret Service. This experience was both an honor and a challenge, demanding an exceptional level of coordination, discretion, and attention to detail.
What’s your personal philosophy when it comes to delivering exceptional service?
For me, it all comes down to promptness and clear communication. I believe in setting reasonable expectations and consistently following through on my commitments, which resonates deeply with my clients. In every interaction, I prioritize responsiveness, clarity, and accountability, ensuring that each client feels valued and understood.
What advice would you give to someone chartering an aircraft for the first time?
Ask as many questions as you need –and don’t hesitate! If necessary, request a step-by-step explanation of the process. The more informed you are, the better your charter experience will be.
Also, conduct thorough research. Charter providers can vary greatly in the services they render and their reliability, so conducting due diligence is not only essential, but it also serves you better. Choose a company that demonstrates transparency, communicates effectively, and has extensive experience in the industry. A foundation of trust makes all the difference.
Just for fun—what’s your favorite aircraft, and why?
The Gulfstream G650ER is, hands down, my favorite jet for plenty of reasons. Its ultra-long-distance flight range, unmatched high speed, and cabin comfort make it a top-tier choice for global private travelers. The G650ER can take you further and connect cities like New York to Tokyo nonstop. It’s pure luxury on board its spacious, quiet cabin. It’s worth mentioning that the low cabin altitude can help reduce fatigue, making it ideal for executives, families, and heads of state alike. It’s a perfect balance of performance, sophistication, and reliability, and a true standout in the world of private aviation.
