New perspectives in Tulum
This very special project was driven by the founder of Design Hotels, the genius Claus Sendlinger. He, along with a curated group of international creatives, collaborated to create a very special house to gather in a place that they dearly loved. Most of all, it has a strong sense of place and history; in respect and support of the artisanal traditions and craftsmanship of the Yucatan region.
Here, you’re on the edge of the Caribbean Sea and the tree tops of the Sian Ka’an Bio-sphere Reserve; a national park home to native jaguars, panthers, crocodiles and dolphins. A spectacular terrain of Mayan ruins, pyramids, canals and lagoons. Plus, the world’s second largest barrier reef which runs from Mexico to Honduras giving shelter to an array of coral and sea life.
Tulum Treehouse can accommodate 10 in comfort and is no doubt best enjoyed on an exclusive use basis, where the menus and services are entirely based on your preferences and only you and your guests are in residence. The crowning glory of the treehouse is the rooftop terrace - high in canopy of the trees on the jungle’s very edge. Get active if you wish for eco-excursions exploring the jungle or making bubbles with a plan of private scuba diving.
