Air Partner was the first global air charter company to offer carbon-neutral flights and in 2006 we committed ourselves to becoming a carbon-neutral company.
Whilst air travel has become integral to today’s global lifestyle, informed choices can lessen effects on the environment.
Many of our clients want to reduce the environmental impact of their flights. We calculate the carbon footprint of each flight and provide our clients with the data required to make realistic decisions about both costs and emissions.
For example, by switching from old-generation aircraft to newer jets, carbon emissions can be halved. We include optional carbon offset costs as standard in our proposals.
We employ a portfolio of four climate-friendly technology projects which prevent or reduce greenhouse gases at source. The projects are vetted and endorsed by The CarbonNeutral Company, one of the world’s leading climate change businesses, and verified by PricewaterhouseCoopers.
These projects make use of renewable sources or improve the efficiency with which we use energy. As well as reducing emissions at source, these projects realise additional socio-economic benefits – improving health by reducing the smoke from kerosene lamps and cooking stoves, or reducing poverty by generating new employment opportunities.
This will be invested in a fully vetted carbon-neutral project, which may include:
