Air Partner expands and strengthens its specialist Sports team

Private aviation provider Air Partner has strengthened and expanded its specialist Sports department with the appointment of Spencer Arnold as a Senior Commercial Analyst at its UK London-Gatwick HQ.

Prior to joining Air Partner, Spencer was the Sports Travel Manager at rival aircraft charter broker Hunt & Palmer, a position he held for more than three years. During this time, in addition to providing charters for sports teams, supporters and event sponsors, he also organised worldwide humanitarian, press launch and corporate hospitality charters.

Previously, Spencer worked for a number of sports related companies, primarily in managerial sales roles, sponsorship liaison and team management.

Air Partner, which has sports specialists in all of its 22 offices worldwide, has particular expertise in working with football and rugby clubs, along with specialist sports agencies involved in supporter travel.

By arranging aircraft charters ranging from small private jets through to large capacity airliners, Air Partner is able to provide travel solutions for groups of any size, to any event, anywhere in the world.

Matthew Savage, Manager of Air Partner Commercial Jets, said: “Spencer’s experience in delivering best value charter solutions, client retention and sourcing new opportunities made him the ideal candidate to fill a senior role in line with our strategic plan to ramp up our sports activity. Utilisation of charter by sports teams remains on the increase due to the flexibility it offers for schedules and destinations.
