Contingency Planning

Contingency planning will be done for countries which may be at risk of political unrest, risk of violence, or more natural issues such as earthquakes, tsunami or pandemics.

Contingency planning includes:

  • Desk top analysis of suitable airports and alternative cross-border options where appropriate.
  • Assessment of possible aircraft availability and airport services which would be required such as handling agents, landing aids, customs facilities, possible operational problems with weather variations  and opening hours.
  • Potential safe havens
  • Review by the Air Partner Ops24 team to ensure planning is effective including confirmation of landing and over flight permit timings.
  • Two way review with client to ensure optimum plan.

  • Annual review of plans

For those locations that are particularly complex or difficult Air Partner may recommend a visit to the relevant countries by a specialist aviation consultant.
