Job Purpose Statement
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, Air Partner Broking, the role of Director, Aircraft Remarketing involves principally remarketing the aircraft that we have under mandate, generating new aircraft remarketing mandates, identifying ACMI wet lease opportunities, cross selling other Air Partner products and delivering revenue and profitability in accordance with agreed targets and maintaining high earning accounts in order to obtain repeat business. The role will involve maximising profits and minimising losses on assigned aircraft remarketing projects through negotiated sales or leases to third parties. You will also have a responsibility to co-ordinate the efforts of the Remarketing team on a global basis.
The remarketing process is facilitated by long-term industry relationships and trading experience and therefore to compliment the primary role, it will be necessary to be included in various field activities such as client visits, airline visits, trade confernces and aircraft viewings.
To be effective in this role you will need to demonstrate proven proactive sales ability, smart procurement techniques, resourceful thinking, creative presentation of offers, outstanding commercial awareness, insightful and robust closing techniques in order to secure mandates and close transactions.
In addition to the above, you will also lead by example and display best practice Remarketing techniques along with mentoring and guiding the less experienced members of the Remarketing and ACMI Team.
